Installation
Install the plugin through npm or the Homebridge Config UI, then restart Homebridge to begin controlling your ADT Pulse security system from the Home app.
Prerequisites
Before you install, make sure the following are in place:
- Homebridge — A working Homebridge installation that you can restart after adding the plugin.
- ADT Pulse account — Active credentials for the ADT Pulse Web Portal, subscribed in either the United States or Canada.

Install with npm
The quickest path is a three-step flow: install, configure, restart.
- Run
npm install homebridge-adt-pulseto add the plugin. - Configure the plugin using the sample on the Configuration page for guidance.
- Restart Homebridge and see the magic happen.

Install with Homebridge Config UI
If you prefer a graphical setup, install the plugin through oznu's Homebridge Config UI.
- Open the Homebridge Config UI and go to the plugin search.
- Search for
adt-pulseand install the plugin from the results. - Configure the plugin through the configuration UI available in the "Plugins" tab.
tip
The Config UI ships a dedicated setup wizard. Starting from v3.4.0, the wizard creates your device fingerprint for you, so you no longer need an external tool for two-factor authentication.
After Installing
Once the plugin is installed, a few settings get you to a working configuration.
- Set your portal region — Choose the United States or Canada portal on the Portal Region page.
- Add your credentials and sensors — Fill in your login and define each sensor you want in the Home app on the Configuration page.
- Review supported accessories — Confirm which devices the plugin can expose on the Supported Devices page.
Restart Homebridge after any configuration change so the plugin picks up the new settings.
