Advanced Options
Deactivate specific plugin behaviors through the options array when the defaults do not match how your alarm system is set up.
Overview
Each alarm system is uniquely designed, and at times a plugin behavior may not align with your preferences. The options array lets you turn off specific aspects of the plugin.
These options remove functionality on purpose, so it is recommended to exercise caution. Disabling a behavior may result in the loss of expected functionality, as noted for each option below.
Available Options
The options field is an array of strings. Each string you include enables one advanced option.
| Value | Behavior |
|---|---|
disableAlarmRingingSwitch | Disables the "Alarm Ringing" switch that the plugin exposes. |
ignoreSensorProblemStatus | Ignores "Sensor Problem" and "Sensor Problems" panel statuses. |
By default, the array is empty, and every behavior stays enabled.
Disable the Alarm Ringing Switch
Include the "disableAlarmRingingSwitch" value in the options array to disable the "Alarm Ringing" switch.
warning
Enabling this option prevents you from being able to silence a ringing alarm when the system is in "Disarmed" mode.

Ignore Sensor Problem Statuses
Include the "ignoreSensorProblemStatus" value in the options array to ignore "Sensor Problem" statuses.
warning
Enabling this option prevents you from being able to silence a ringing alarm triggered by a "Sensor Problem" or "Sensor Problems" status.

Combining Options
You can enable both options at once by listing each value in the options array.
{
"platforms": [
{
"platform": "ADTPulse",
"name": "ADT Pulse",
"options": [
"disableAlarmRingingSwitch",
"ignoreSensorProblemStatus"
]
}
]
}
Startup Warning
If the options array is not empty, a warning is displayed upon every startup. This warning cannot be disabled.
Leaving options as an empty array ([]) keeps all functionality enabled and avoids the startup warning.
